Janelle Riley

Janelle Riley has been Syvantis Technologies’ President and General Manager since April 2000. Janelle is a CPA and a Microsoft Dynamics GP Certified Professional. Janelle leads Syvantis’ Microsoft Business Solutions practice, and is a specialist in accounting systems implementation and management. Janelle is also co-owner of Fairview Office Park, an award-winning low impact development in Baxter, and Computer One, a retail computer and wireless store. She is also an Adjunct Instructor in the Accounting Department at the College of St. Scholastica, Brainerd Campus. Janelle is a Baxter Industrial and Economic Development Commissioner and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce.

Prior to joining Syvantis, Janelle was a CPA with 12 years of public accounting experience with the international accounting firms of Ernst & Young and KPMG LLP. While working in public accounting, Janelle consulted in a wide variety of tax transactions, including banking and insurance products and services, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational structure

Janelle holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters in Professional Accounting with majors in Financial Statement Analysis and Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ken Riley

Ken Riley is Syvantis’ Technical Services Director. As Technical Services Director, Ken is responsible for all technical services operations at Syvantis. Ken is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Sales Associate, HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Dynamics GP Certified Professional, and a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certified Professional with over 25 years of technology industry experience. His career includes experience in system administration and operations, network system design and implementation, project management, database administration, and web site and web application development. Ken has managed the design, testing, and implementation of multi-platform, nationwide infrastructure rollouts.

Ken spent over 10 years in the Air Force, first as an electronics specialist, and later as a computer and communications officer at the Pentagon. In 1992 Ken moved to Minneapolis, where he spent three years with Andersen Consulting as Manager of the Network and Systems Management Group, and later as a technical project manager for Andersen client projects. Ken started a consulting company (Syndesis Technologies) in 1995, and consulted independently through that company periodically for five years. Prior to joining Syvantis Technologies in April 2000, Ken was a Principal Engineer for Comdisco’s Network Services Division. At Comdisco Ken provided engineering and development support for wide area network management architecture and related web-based reporting tools.

Ken holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Todd Froemming

As Vice President Sales at Syvantis Technologies, Todd is responsible for all sales and marketing activities at the company. Todd is a Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist. Prior to joining Syvantis in April 2000, he worked in the governmental and non-profit sectors. Todd has been involved in all aspects of management, including organizational start-up, fund-raising, fiscal and grants management, policy development, and human resources. While employed by the State of Indiana, Todd was responsible for the development and implementation of separation of fiscal activities from a large state department to an independent state agency. He has served on a number of different state and local committees and task forces focusing on access to technology and applications of technology for people with disabilities. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor for the College of St. Scholastica, teaching graduate and undergraduate business communication courses.

Todd holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and undergraduate degrees in Business and Mass Communications from North Dakota State University.
