Once again, we are approaching that special time of year when the leaves start to fall, the weather starts to cool, and you begin preparing for the upcoming Community Summit North America conference! This year, the largest independent Microsoft business application conference is coming to Nashville, Tennessee. From October 11 th-15 th, Microsoft users, from finance pros to IT leads, will come together at the Gaylord Opryland Resort to connect and learn about various topics in the Microsoft ecosystem.

There are many reasons to attend Community Summit, but one of the biggest is simple — it's YOU! The community there is one like no other, with over 5,000 attendees from Microsoft partners, users, and MVPs (Microsoft's most valuable professionals) all in one location. You not only have the opportunity to learn and connect with attendees, but you also have access to over 600 educational sessions, an Expo Hall full of Microsoft experts and partners, and the chance to get your questions answered and systems fixed at the medic desks.

From the preparation before the conference, the interactions during the conference, and the next steps after the conference concludes, there are many reasons to attend the Community Summit. So, without delay, let's dive in and figure out how to make the most of your Summit experience.

Plan your sessions before you go

First things first, you need to take care of a few things before you set off to Music City, like planning your itinerary so that once you arrive, you have a solid plan for what you are looking for and don't waste any time.

Whether you are looking for specific conversations on topics such as ERP or CRM systems, diving into AI, or just getting familiar with Microsoft's ecosystem and seeking introductory sessions, there is something for everyone.

These expert-led sessions are a great opportunity for you to deepen your knowledge of various topics and to connect with the speakers teaching them. You can use this link to research and filter sessions and topics you're interested in attending, and to carve out time on your schedule so you don't miss anything.

Syvantis sessions

This year, Syvantis is bringing two new educational sessions to Community Summit:

A practical guide to using CRM (CE) Copilot: Cutting through the hype

This session is skipping the filler and getting straight to the chase. The buzz surrounding Copilot AI is only increasing by the day. Cutting through all the noise and truly understanding how to use this tool in your daily processes is exactly what Syvantis Practice Director Justin O'Connor will discuss in this session. Learn what Customer Engagement Copilot features work really well and can make an immediate impact on your CRM system, and which ones aren't quite there yet.

Once you've arrived

Now that you've got all the planning out of the way and you've arrived, this is when the real fun begins! It's time to attend the educational sessions you planned on earlier, but you'll definitely want to make time for the Expo Hall.

The Expo Hall

The Expo Hall is a great opportunity for you to converse with other attendees who may be facing issues similar to yours and find solutions by connecting with Microsoft leaders and experts. The Expo floor will be active from Monday, October 12 th, to Wednesday, October 14 th. With exhibitors and session speakers everywhere, you will need to set aside a good chunk of time to take it all in.

Syvantis Booth #457

If you haven't heard, it's time you did: it's become a tradition at Syvantis to create an immersive booth theme each year. Previous themes include a Parisian café, a Tuscan vineyard, and a two-story cabin in the northern woods. Last year was no different, with the newest addition to the themed collection of a 1920s Speakeasy. Attendees were led through a secret door and transported back to the prohibition era, where they could listen to a player piano, enjoy champagne cocktails, and discuss solutions with our expert consultants to meet their business needs.

During our booth hours, you can connect with our staff to discuss how we can assist you with questions about migration, system rescues, integrations, and other aspects of Microsoft's Ecosystem.

We have relationships with multiple Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), so we can answer your questions about them and point you in the right direction as you research your options. So, be sure to check out booth #457 to connect with our team and to see how we outdo ourselves this year.

Hubs & Tech Medic Desks

Another great way to make the most of your experience while you are there is to stop by the Tech Medic desks. If you are dealing with a failed integration or tech break, then these on-site tech medics are just the people you want to see. You can receive on-the-spot technical support from Microsoft product experts. Whether it be quick questions on topics like Business Central, Finance & Operations, Dynamics GP, or in-depth troubleshooting, these medic desks can take something that's been bugging you for weeks and squash it away.

After Summit

Lastly, after a few days of connecting and learning, the conference will end, but the next steps have only just begun. To ensure you get the most out of Community Summit, you'll want to take care of some post-conference maintenance.

Follow up with your connections

You will receive many follow-ups; take advantage of them. One of the best parts of Summit is the people and the relationships you build there, so nurturing them post-Summit will make your experience even better.

Reach out for session recordings

The amount of insightful information you will take in at Community Summit will undoubtedly be extremely helpful to you post-conference. Still, after attending multiple-speaker sessions and interacting in the Expo Hall, it would be unrealistic to expect to remember all the information you learned. Don't forget, you can request recordings of the sessions you attended, so you can watch them back on your own time, ensuring you retain the valuable information you went there to learn.

Use the Contact Us page on the Community Summit website to request the recordings or email the speaker directly if you received their email during the session.

Post your experience

Lastly, showcase your experience to your network on sites like LinkedIn. The Community Summit is a fun, fast-paced, immersive experience that only happens once a year, so tell everyone about it. Post about the sessions you learned about and the amazing booths you visited as you build anticipation for your return next year.

So, as you can see, there are plenty of benefits to attending Community Summit. From the speaker sessions to the Expo Halls and Medic desks, there is something for everyone who attends, and even more you can learn that you weren't expecting.

If you have not registered yet and are ready to pull the trigger, contact our team to receive a 15% discount code or to ask any other questions you may have about Community Summit.

We can't wait for this year's show and hope to see you there and at booth #457!
