Many organizations have heard (or experienced) horror stories of tech implementation initiatives that went over budget, missed deadlines, or failed to deliver expected results. In many cases, these problems stemmed from misaligned objectives, poor communication, or a lack of understanding of the business itself from the consultants.
At Syvantis Technologies, we take a different approach. Over the last 25+ years, we’ve designed and refined a unique consulting model built around long-term client success, one that’s helped us make a name for ourselves in the industry. We invest our time, expertise, and resources into finding just the right business solutions for every client.
Because we know when our clients succeed, we do, too.
Syvantis Technologies is a leading mid-market provider of Microsoft ERP and CRM products and solutions to businesses of all sizes in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
We aim to be a true partner and extension of your team. That’s why we devote ample time to understanding our clients’ end-to-end business processes and needs before we ever start billing. With more than 25 years of experience under our belt, our goal is to empower our clients to achieve their business goals by implementing custom software solutions across ecommerce, marketing, sales, financials, manufacturing, and operations.
We are not a software company, but a solutions-obsessed consulting firm with the expertise necessary to implement technology when and where it fits.
We provide consulting and technical services in the following areas:
We take a holistic approach to client success. From strategic planning and implementation to training, support, and long-term optimization, we’re invested in helping our clients achieve lasting results at every stage of their journey. When our clients do well, it helps us do well, too. Their success is woven into the fabric of our organizational processes.
In choosing to work with us, organizations place their trust in our team, expertise, and guidance. We take that responsibility seriously. Here are just a few of the other things that set us apart from the rest, and that you can expect when working with us:
From your very first conversation with us, you’ll be partnered directly with experienced consultants instead of salespeople more concerned with closing deals than delivering successful outcomes. Our consultants understand both the technology and the realities of implementation, and since they’re the ones actually doing the work, they know what can be accomplished, what challenges may arise, and what success looks like for your business.
That continuity extends throughout your entire project. With the same experts involved in discovery helping guide your project forward, you can trust that the commitments made early in the process are grounded in reality, and will match what you end up with.
We won’t sell you on promises we can’t keep.
We don’t have traditional salespeople on our staff, so we operate outside of a traditional commission-based model of pay. We also don’t give out bonuses based on billable time. In fact, we believe that commissions and bonuses can create a conflict of interest, whereby our consultants become motivated for the wrong reasons. The absence of these financial incentives means you can rest assured our consultants’ recommendations are driven by what’s best for your organization, not by a need to hit commission or secure a bonus, nor sell a particular product, service, or license.
We pay our consultants full salaries, so they can focus on what matters most: solving business challenges, improving processes, and achieving your long-term goals.
Most of our consultants didn’t begin their careers in consulting. Before joining Syvantis, they held various roles across industries like manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, accounting, and software development. They managed projects, solved operational challenges, supported end users, and faced many of the same technology decisions our clients do today.
Hiring and training people with this kind of experience takes more time and investment from us, but we do it anyway. Why? Because we’ve seen them make the best consultants. They’re familiar with the full business process, the realities of day-to-day operations, and the requirements to implement new technologies because they’ve lived it.
Rather than simply knowing how the technology works in an abstract sense, we understand how it needs to work within your business to get things done.
So, when we say we understand your business, we mean it.
We believe that everyone who works at Syvantis should understand how the entire business operates, no matter what department they’re in. That’s why we encourage our team members to cross-train, expand their skillsets, and contribute beyond their primary roles. For example, our financial consultants help manage our own internal accounting operations in Business Central, and members of our marketing team support our help desk to get firsthand insight into the challenges our clients encounter.
This cross-functional approach helps everyone develop a broader perspective. Instead of viewing everything through the myopic lens of a single department, our team understands how decisions ripple across sales, finance, operations, and customer support. That perspective leads to more thoughtful recommendations and better outcomes for our clients.
Transparency is just as important as collaboration, and that’s why we openly share and discuss our company's financials with our entire staff.
When we know our own business from the inside out, we're better equipped to serve yours.
At Syvantis, fixed-fee projects are the standard, not the exception. In fact, 85% of the projects we completed in 2025 were delivered on a fixed-fee basis. Before we begin any implementation, we invest significant time in understanding the processes, challenges, and long-term goals of your business. This crucial discovery step allows us to build a detailed project plan and establish clear expectations of predetermined cost before work begins.
Because of that upfront work, we can offer fixed-fee projects rather than billing by the hour. Unlike time-and-materials engagements—where the client assumes the risk of unexpected delays or scope changes—we assume full responsibility for delivering the agreed-upon outcome within the agreed-upon budget.
What we quote is what you pay, always.
Our approach is business first and process focused. But what does “business first” really mean? Ask any of our current or former clients, and they’ll tell you we spent more time discussing their revenue streams, operations, and business goals than we did talking about the software that supports them.
Rather than leading with product features or licensing options, we start by understanding how your organization operates today, where you want to go tomorrow, and what’s currently standing in your way. Only then do we recommend technology to support those goals. It’s why you’ll find our blog organized by business process rather than by technology: our technical solutions solve your business needs, and never the other way around.
Sometimes that means recommending one of our solutions. Sometimes it means recommending a different path altogether.
Instead of trying to sell you a particular product, we focus on helping you build processes that support growth, efficiency, and success in your business.
One of our core beliefs is that informed clients make better decisions. The more you understand your systems and processes, the more value you’ll gain from them.
While we’re always here to provide guidance and support, our ultimate goal is to help organizations become more confident and self-sufficient over time. That’s why we invest heavily in education through training sessions, webinars, and other educational content, all available (and free to our clients) on Syvantis Learn.
Knowledge is one of the most valuable solutions we deliver.
The easiest thing a consultant can do is agree with every request, but that’s not really what our clients hire us for. We prefer to understand the reasoning behind client requests by asking probing questions from the very start of our engagement: Why do you want to make this change? What business problem are you trying to solve? Is there a better way to achieve the same outcome?
Based on what we learn, we may challenge an idea, recommend a different approach, or steer clients toward a different solution that doesn’t involve us, simply because we believe it’s the better fit for their long-term goals. And if we identify a concern, we’ll address it directly, even when it involves an uncomfortable conversation.
We will always act in the best interests of your business, considering the upfront and long-term costs of our services against your short- and long-term business priorities. In doing so, we avoid being “yes people,” and instead act as trusted advisors who are willing to ask difficult questions, offer honest recommendations, and empower you to make informed decisions about your business.
We'd rather have an honest conversation than tell you what you want to hear.
From collaboration and communication to finance and operations, we use the same Microsoft tools we recommend to our clients.
That firsthand familiarity means our guidance is always informed by the real-world challenges we’ve faced, the lessons we’ve learned, and the best practices we’ve developed while working within these solutions.
We don’t just teach you how to navigate the world of Microsoft products—we live there ourselves.
We’ve built our consulting practice around long-term partnerships, practical expertise, and a commitment to our clients’ success above all. It’s an approach that has helped us stand out in a crowded Microsoft Partner ecosystem, and the best way to experience it is for yourself.
