Create cohesive brand content across Dynamics 365 Apps

A cohesive brand is one that is consistent no matter what or where it is. Visually, your brand can be differentiated by the colors, logo, fonts, and other defining characteristics unique to you. Keeping your brand identifiable across all touchpoints your customers encounter boosts brand recognition, which increases reach and effectiveness of your marketing content.

Plus there’s another bonus specific to outbound marketing efforts: because your brand is easily recognizable, there will be fewer instances of misidentifying things you send out—like emails, surveys, or other documents—as spam to be dumped in the trash, and you might see increased open rates, clickthrough, and submitted surveys.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of cloud-based business applications of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. Data-driven and inter-connected, these apps sport modern and aligned interfaces, robust built-in capabilities, and highly customizable development. Whether you use one or many of these apps, there are many build-in features that allow you to create brand-specific content.

Dynamics 365 Marketing is a comprehensive digital marketing and automation platform with everything you need for email marketing, landing pages, forms, campaigns, lead scoring, lead management, social media posting, event management, and more—all in one user-friendly application.

Build professional emails for all your campaigns with the drag-and-drop email designer. The designer is easy to use, intuitive, and full of capabilities to make your email design easier than ever, like the AI-powered Content ideas, which analyzes previous emails to generate suggestions that sound just like you.

Besides generating unique written suggestions for your email content, the email designer allows for brand customization of your emails. Insert logos, brand colors, custom headers, and other custom content. With little effort, your email will be aligned with your brand and customers will easily recognize them as coming from you. You can even create templates for general emails, webinar invitations, specific campaigns, your newsletter, or any other situation where a consistent email format and design would be ideal.

Survey headers: Dynamics 365 Customer Voice

Dynamics 365 Customer Voice is the all-in-one feedback management solution with survey generation tools for users to understand their customers on a deeper level and create better experiences for them. Create, send, collect, and analyze customer feedback to gain actionable insight into any target aspect of your business.

Much like the email designer in Dynamics 365 Marketing, the Survey designer is packed with pre-built styles and customization options. Change the style, add your logo, a header background image, and background, text, and button colors using a hex code. You can even remove the header if you’re embedding the survey on a page of your website.

Invoices and reports: Dynamics 365 Business Central

Business Central is Microsoft’s premiere ERP solution fit for any size business in almost any industry. With AI-driven capabilities abound, customizations and integrations plentiful, Business Central is equipped with a full repertoire of financial capabilities, inventory, supply chain, manufacturing, and much more.

Invoice and report templates can be edited in either Microsoft Report Builder (RDLC) or Microsoft Word (whatever the report format is set as) and saved for future use. Both Report Builder and Word are built-in tools within Business Central. Use base reports available within Business Central, or have the flexibility to build a custom report. From there, you can export either base or custom report, and begin design changes. Add your logo, brand colors, font, and other identifying design, and then reupload the document when finished. These small design changes to your report templates ensure customers recognize documents you send as being from you, which adds to the professional nature of these documents and your overall brand presence and consistency.

Change the logo for all base templates by uploading a new logo to the company information page within Business Central and save valuable time updating all your base templates (note this doesn’t apply to custom templates). Even when adjusting your brand, Business Central helps you achieve just that.
