What is Microsoft Teams?
If you are unfamiliar, Microsoft Teams is Microsoft’s premier communication application in the Office 365 ecosystem that replaced Skype for Business. Are other office 365 applications free?
Yes, Microsoft is offering 6 free months of Office 365 E1 licensing (this includes Microsoft Teams). This license includes web versions of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Exchange Online (email), OneDrive and SharePoint (cloud storage), and Teams. As mentioned above, these Office 365 applications are built with communication and collaboration in mind meaning integration between them is seamless and intuitive. This license typically costs $8 user/month.
